With a team of experienced brokers, operating and post-fixture specialists, the tanker department of RSUSA is active in all fields of tanker chartering for commodities such as crude oil and petroleum products, chemicals, gases and vegetable oils, serving the whole spectrum of the market.  Be it Oil Companies, Chemical Producers, Oil and Chemical Traders on the chartering side or Tanker Owners and Operators on the ship owning side. The activities include the chartering of tankers, combination carriers, chemical and gas carriers ranging from approx. 1,000 to approx. 350,000 tons deadweight. 

During the more recent years RSUSA expanded its activities from the pure shipbrokering function for either the cargo or the tonnage side into consultancy work, getting involved with future projects of its customers at an early stage.  RSUSA offers it know-how in oil transporation and tanker employment to assist in the preparation of feasibility studies and develop cost-efficent transport solutions.

The chemical chartering section deals with the transportation of liquid and gaseous chemical substances worldwide.  The typical parcel size in this special field is 1,000 tonnes, but they range from 200 up to as much as 15,000 tons.  The chemical chartering section provides special now how to Charterers and Owners, particulary for such products which require special care or which are particularly sensitive.
